Our Mission
Why We Do What We Do
Youth Outdoors Group exists to connect young people with the Great Outdoors through hands-on Outdoor adventures, skill-building, and community. We believe that God’s Creation is the greatest classroom — one that teaches resilience, teamwork, and Preparedness in ways nothing else can.
We are proud to support Trail Life USA and American Heritage Girls — two outstanding Faith Based character-building organizations that share our commitment to faith, family, and the outdoors. Every hike, campfire, and challenge is designed to build character that lasts a lifetime.

Trail Life USA
Trail Life Paragraph- Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered outdoor adventure program for boys that helps them grow into men of character, integrity, and leadership. Through camping, outdoor skills, service, adventure, and hands-on experiences, boys are challenged to build confidence, develop practical skills, strengthen relationships, and grow in their faith. Trail Life USA provides a positive environment where boys can be boys and learn to Walk Worthy.

American Heritage Girls
AHG Paragraph- American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a Christ-centered character and leadership development program where girls are encouraged to discover who they are and whose they are in Christ. Through Faith, Service, Fun, outdoor adventure, badges, friendships, and hands-on experiences, girls develop confidence, competence, and a heart for serving others. AHG’s mission is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country, equipping girls to become Christ-following servant leaders who are anchored in Christ and prepared to make a difference in the world.
